"Getting into the older part of Alfredton has had its challenges. We had been looking for over 10 months and to our surprise not much was available. This made us aware of the value of property in the older part of Alfredton. We made contact with Sue from Wes Davidson Real Estate when she first went to them. I knew Sue as a previous work colleague and asked if she knew anything in the older part of Alfredton. She immediately put us onto a property in Cordover Court. To our delight this was a property that we looked at over 8 months earlier which we liked but thought had sold. Sue sold us the home over a course of a few weeks and followed up with all that she promised with a smooth transaction from our old home to our new one. Sue has since been in contact to check that all is OK with Cordover Court. "In my search for a house in Ballarat earlier this year, I was fortunate to meet Sue Brogden, an agent with Wes Davidson Real Estate. I had made quite a long list of properties which I thought would suit, and explained what I was looking for in my search for the right home. Sue picked me up and showed me every house on my list, which took several hours. She listened patiently while I explained why each property was not suitable, and obviously listened very carefully. Based on the information I had given her during our search, she finally suggested one last house, not on my list, which turned out to be exactly the one I wanted. We then discussed the price. While I had budget constraints, I understood that Sue was acting for the vendor, and a price acceptable to both vendor and purchaser needed to be agreed upon. Here Sue demonstrated her excellent negotiation skills, helping both parties arrive at the right price. When I returned to Ballarat for the property settlement, Sue picked me up at the station, helped me carry my large "starter pack" of essentials for moving in, and also offered to drive me to several stores, waiting patiently while I chose furniture. Since I was not at all familiar with Ballarat at that time, her kindness was very much appreciated. I am delighted to recommend Sue as an outstanding real estate representative. Her patience, understanding, tact, and genuine willingness to help, not just at the time of the sale but since I have come to Ballarat, have made my interstate move so much easier.
